One of the temples that we are going to visit this week is the Arulmigu Mayakkuthar Swami Temple. The temple is the fourth of the Navatirupatis, the seat of Sanibagavan and the fifty-fifth of the one hundred and eight Divyadesas. Mythology: Aravil Tuilum Venkatavana was the most revered of the Vedic scholars who understood the Fourth Sense and the Agamapurana, Mei Navil and Manu Shastra and the sixty-four arts. His wife is Kumudhavathi. Due to their severe meditation, Mangai’s mother appeared as their daughter and grew up with the name Kamalavati.
Like Andala, Kamalavathi used to worship Tirumala thinking of spending the evening as her husband. Uttara went to the forest despite the opposition of his relatives and performed severe penance for Narayanan. Kamalavathi’s meditation and the rest of Paranthaman’s wedding ceremony was held in the month of January in Suklapatta Duvatasi under the star Poosam. The scribe was overjoyed to see his daughter, the Lord, clothed in His bosom.
The demon Ashmanaran, who lived in the Himalayas, was imprisoned in the Himalayas for ninety-eight women, thinking that he should marry a thousand women at the same time. Then he set out in search of the thousandth woman.
Vedasaran worshiped Perumala to rescue his wife. Perumal also intended to help the Vedas. Karutadhar was arrogant that Emperuman would need his kindness to go to the Himalayas. But Lord Karutadhvara flew in a trance and reached the Himalayas with his footsteps. The ego of Karutadhar was destroyed.
Emperuman flew in a chariot to capture the captive Kumudavathi and reached Thirukulandai. Perumal pushed the monster down and raised his head and cheered. Perumal is also known as ‘Sora Natyan’ and ‘Mayak Koothan’ in this revision as the demon Soran who stole the women of Mayakkuttan danced on top. When Perumal hit Thiruvadi on the head, the demon got rid of the curse and became Kandarvan. Worshiped the Lord and said goodbye.
Literary specialty: This revision was made by Namazhvara. Mangalasasana was recited by Nammazhvara. The great Thiruvadiya Karutadhwar is seen flying high with his wings raised while flying. This temple is the fourth of the Navatirupathis, the Sanipakavaninthala and the fifty-fifth Divya Desam of the One Hundred and Eight Divyadesas.
